Sauvignon Blanc

Grounded Cru Adelaide Hills Sauvignon Blanc

Our 2022 Sauvignon Blanc is bright and fresh, with passionfruit and citrus aromas on offer. Flavours of lime and grapefruit with a touch of melon leave you wanting more. The mouthfeel is textural with a touch of complexity provided by a small barrel ferment component. Our tasty and bright Sauvignon Blanc is nicely matched to a well-seasoned charcoal baked whole Barramundi with a rocket and pear balsamic salad. This is a terrifically versatile wine which pairs with a wide range of foods.

Morgan's Reserve Sauvignon Blanc

This Sauvignon Blanc is a classic Adelaide Hills style with powerful nectarine, citrus and white peach fruits. Quite a full-bodied Sauvignon Blanc yet retains it's cool climate elegance with a long finish. The wines bottled under the Morgan's Label have been sourced from a select group of small growers in the Adelaide Hills since 2010, the first of which was Owen Morgan. Originally the Morgan's label was based around a single vineyard high in the Adelaide Hills near Lenswood, but is now a regional blend, picking out the best of the Hills. Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc is the focus, but with the occasional spicy Shiraz for good measure.

Mystery Adelaide Sauvignon Blanc Deal No. 56

Nose: The nose offers subtle and elegant aromas of passionfruit and snow peas. Palate: The palate is smooth but lively with delightful tropical fruit flavours, followed by a crisp and refreshing finish.

Mr Tipple Sauvignon Blanc

Fresh cut grass and a ripe Panama passionruit on the nose, the palate juicy and plump with very crisp acidity to hold everything together. Mr Tipple is a sophisticated mystery man with impeccable taste. A wine bottler by trade, he sees some of the best wines in the country and gives us the inside running on the really choice parcels (he's especially good at convincing famous wineries to hand over their prized juice).

Mystery Adelaide Hills Sauvignon Blanc Deal No. 96

Abundantly aromatic with pink grapefruit, gooseberry and kaffir lime intertwined with complex, crisp flavours of nettle, passionfruit, talc and lime zest. Beautifully balanced with a layered, generous mid-palate roundness. The 2023 vintage is arguably our finest yet and has all the tropical elements of Sauvignon but intertwined with a lingering line of refreshing acidity and a richer mouthfeel.

Sourced from St Etienne de Lisse on cooler north-facing slopes, which helped to retain freshness in this vintage. It's a focussed wine with rich stone fruits, juicy pear and peach pits. Highly enjoyable. Jane Anson Decanter 91 Points

Domaine Christian Salmon Sancerre AC

Very pale straw. The first impression is of intense flinty, minerally notes verging on gunpowder. Beingtypically aromatic, the wine opens up with air, taking on more fruity nuances, inparticular of ripe pear. The structure is defined by wonderful balance. The style is vigorous and frank, with asurprisingly rich middle palate, finishing with lively vivacity. Domaine ChristianSalmon Sancerre leaves one with an overall sensation of elegance and harmony. The bunches are lightly crushed as soon as they arrive to the winery. The must is pumped into stainless steel tanks and left to cold settle before the fermentation, which occurs naturally. The temperature of the ferment is closely monitored to avoid any possible risk of oxidation and to retain freshness and aroma. The wine is racked and a minimal addition of sulphur dioxide is made as required. The wine is rested in tank prior to bottling. Domaine Christian Salmon is looking to preserve the typical flavours and aromas of Sauvignon Blanc from Sancerre, and no oak treatment is involved in the production. Domaine Christian Salmon is a family owned estate in the Coteaux Buetons, covering 15 hectares within the appellation of Sancerre Blanc and 3.25 hectares for Pouilly Fume. For six generations the Salmon family has been growing grapes and making wine with care, finesse and passion. The wines are in a classic, fresh and zesty style reliant on indigenous ferments, a very slow and gentle crush and extended time on lees in tank. Today Armand Salmon farms two main soil types in Sancerre: Terres blanches (clay-limestone), on the westernmost hills and Caillottes, (very stony and limestone rich). In the commune of Pouilly-sur-Loire, Domaine Christian Salmon's unique vineyard "Clos des Criots" is located in the centre of the village. The soils are marls rich in oyster fossils (Kimmeridgian) and Villiers limestone.
