Vibrant ruby red, with some purple. Aromas of red fruits and spice - typical of the variety, are lifted and an immediately striking characteristic. On the palate, spicy and savoury Nero d’Avola is balanced with some solid Shiraz fruit sweetness and depth. Some characteristic crispness on the finish leaves no doubt as to the wine’s origin. A Shiraz for the big boys, fresh red currants and blueberries leap from the glass and are interwoven with violets and spice. The palate is rich in juicy raspberries; blueberries and spice fill the mouth and are supported by bright acid and silky tannins. The finish is fleshy, juicy and plush with wonderful medium bodied balance and style.

This Cabernet Merlot exhibits ripe cassis, dark chocolate and licorice aromas. High notes of cedary oak and bay leaf add further complexity. The palate unfolds in a myriad of layers of ripe blackcurrant and red fruit interwoven with savoury oak. The long and flavoursome finish is well supported by dry and fine grained tannins.

A vibrant but dark red in the glass, with a decidely dark Cherry fruited nose with touches of earth and tar before sweeter oak is folded through.
