The two red grapes used in production, Grolleau and Cabernet Franc impart a delicious spectrum of summer red berry fruit, combining the classic stylistic descriptor of 'strawberries and cream'.

This release is blended from vineyards near the McLaren Vale township, Willunga, Onkaparinga Gorge and Blewitt Springs, chosen for their capacity to capture the essence of the regional style. A medium-bodied wine with a plush palate and bright, vibrant, red fruit characters and lovely spice, this Grenache Shiraz calls for great food, good company and a second glass.

A Shiraz for the big boys, fresh red currants and blueberries leap from the glass and are interwoven with violets and spice. The palate is rich in juicy raspberries; blueberries and spice fill the mouth and are supported by bright acid and silky tannins. This 100% pinot noir (IGP- Mediterranean) is described by the winery as (having) "an intense nose of black cherry, jammy and toasted hazelnut. On the palate, the attack is of a beautiful smoothness which is prolonged by an explosion of fruit, fine and very pure, which fills the mouth, in concert with a light tannic structure. Carried by its freshness, this dominance of very ripe, slightly kirsch cherry flavour stretches in length, then evolves into notes of toasted hazelnuts on the palate."
