The 2012 Morey St. Denis is a gorgeous wine at this level. Dark red and black fruit notes flesh out on in a dense yet inviting wine loaded with depth, nuance and complexity. Sweet licorice and tobacco notes develop of time, but first and foremost the Morey is a wine of structure, length and gorgeous polish.

One of Australia's icon wines, this is Cabernet at its very best. This wine is the very definition of power and elegance. Hand crafted by Keith Mugford and his team in the Margaret River, Moss Wood deservedly fits in the Exceptional category of Langton's Classification of Australian Wine.

It has an enticing ruby colour with aromas of raspberry, black cherry and a hint of spice. On the palate, the wine has a velvety texture with a nice balance of bright and dark fruits leading to a refreshing finish. There are also subtle notes of toasty oak, allspice, and mocha.

Fragrant ripe blueberry fruit aromas plus pepper, mushroom & toasty oak. The palate shows dark fruits & liquorice intermingled with toasty vanillin oak notes, preceding a long lasting, pepper & spicy tannin finish. The medium weight but firm structure & fruit vibrancy of this wine ensure it has many possible food matches.

Dense black as night heart with a deep dark red black hue. Wafting from the glass are potent scents of ripe blackcurrant, liquorice and cigar box trailed by some black olive, earth and spicy dried herb notes. Medium bodied the palate is filled with rich blackcurrant fruit which overlays a back drop of liquorice, cigar box, black olive and spicy dried herb characters. Providing ample structure are sturdily built fine grained tannins. The long generously fruited conclusion complexed by notions of cigar box and spicy dried herbs. Cellar 6-8 years. Alc. 14%

Long Gully Pinot Noir is handcrafted in very limited quantities and only released in outstanding vintages. Crisp blackberry and Bing cherry interplay with baronial floral notes alongside an assemblage of sweet brown spices. These same lifted dark cherry and berry notes dominate the entry onto the palate; theres a classic Long Gully dense mid-palate with flow and texture. The wine finishes strongly with a lovely tension present right through the fine-grained tannins and spicy dark berry fruit. Mt Difficulty Long Gully Pinot Noir will improve for 10 15 years given optimal cellaring conditions.

Lifted pure fruit characters of plum and other black fruits. Dark fruit notes balance out the palate with new oak complexity and long, rich finish.
