Marcarini Barolo Comune La Morra

The Marcarini winery is located in the village of La Morra. Established in the 1700s, it is one of the regions historical estates and was one of the first to designate single vineyards on the labels in the 1950s. The Marcarini wines can be described as classic. They come from great vineyards sites, are farmed organically (not certified) and the wines are aged in large oak.

Maretti Langhe Nebbiolo

With the alps on three sides in the countrys mountainous North West, Piedmont creates some of Italys finest red wines. This elegant and complex wine displays the lifted aromatics, bright red fruits and fine tannins so expressive of Langhe Nebbiolo. Its smooth and medium bodied with dark berries. hints of dried herb and nunaces of leather. Approachable now but will benefit mid-term cellaring. Pair it with some rustic pork and fennel sausages on creamy parmesan polenta.

Michele Chiarlo Nebbiolo Il Principe

Michele Chiarlo was founded in 1956 by the sole and present owners, Michele and Giuseppina Chiarlo. Son of over seven generations of esteemed wine growers, Mr. Chiarlo is today one of the most respected producers of the fine wines of Piedmont and a leading figure in its viticultural industry. The Principe is produced with the grapes from the Nebbiolo hills in the Langa area and has been left to refine in large vats for a year. Notes of violet, red fruits and elegant fine spices. Harmonious, with good structure, the presence of fine tannins and a good round finish.

Ricossa Langhe Nebbiolo DOC

Deep garnet red with medium highlights. The nose shows cherry and hints of violet together with spicy overtones. The palate is full-bodied with red fruit, and chewy tannins.

Bruno Giacosa Casa Vinicola Vigna Valmaggiore Nebbiolo d'Alba

Subtle and elegant with notes of red fruit and dried roses. On the palate, the tannins are present, but fine and well-integrated, and the wine showcases excellent freshness and persistence of fruit.
