Domaine Auguste Clape Cornas

'The Cornas of the vintage is Clapes 2012 Cornas. An incredible effort, its inky purple/black colour is followed by spectacular aromas and flavours of black raspberry, graphite, beef blood, iron, cedar and white pepper (among other things). This is Cornas at its finest, with insane aromatics, full-bodied richness and massive concentration, yet at the same time staying elegant, seamless and gorgeously pure. Its more approachable than the 2010, but should still need 3-4 years of cellaring and have two decades of longevity. - 98 Points |Robert Parker's Wine Advocate. Château Cres Ricards Oenothera

This Estate was created in 1960, at the place known as Crès Ricards, in the village of Ceyras. In 2010 Jean-Claude Mas acquired the 27 ha (69 acres) belonging to the Château, extending the estate to 42 ha in 2013. He was fascinated by the fantastic terroir of the Terrasses du Larzac, which produces silky wines with intense flavors. At the foot of Mont Baudile, 35 km to the west of Montpellier, this vineyard offers a unique geography. Yields are low because of the strict grape selection and carbonic maceration is used to produce generous wines. Made from 70% Syrah and 30% Grenache and matured in new and older French oak for 10 months. The wine is at once full bodied and fresh, with notes of intense black currant, black cherry and mocha gliding to a silky, rich finish.

Cave de Tain Saint Joseph Grand Classique

A delicious Syrah developed from hand picked grapes of vines planted on terraces of granitic sand in Northern Cotes-du-Rhone. Flavours of black fruits and morello cherry are abundant and match fantastically with red meats, game birds or unpasteurized milk cheeses. A true delight.

Roche Mazet Pays d'Oc Cabernet Sauvignon

M Chapoutier Crozes-Hermitage

The Chapoutier Estate has been present in the Rhone Valley since 1808, always on a quest to find different tastes and expressions of terrior, or sense of place. Some regard the wines of Hermitage as the greatest Shiraz wines in the world, and thus they can be some of the most expensive. Crozes-Hermitage, however, are the vineyards that surround Hermitage, but without the price tag!

Guigal Hermitage

One of the powerhouses of the Rhône and a name synonymous with beautifully crafted wines from some of the regions finest vineyard sites. Deep ruby red in colour with violet tinges. Spices, red berries and delicate oak aromas. A powerful and tannic Shiraz. Aromas of blackcurrant buds and vanilla, liquorice and spicy finish. A racy and seductive wine by Guigal, perfect for putting down.

Château d'Anglès La Clape Classique Rouge

From a rocky outcrop overlooking the Mediterranean, and first planted to grapes almost 2000 years ago by Roman Legionnaires. The vineyards of this extraordinary estate are watched over by the expert eye of Eric Fabre, former Technical Director at Chateau Lafite. It is now the responsibility of the youngest son, Vianney Fabre, to craft the wines. The composition for their Classique Red can be described, thus, "Syrah for fruit and spices delicately vinified and blended with Grenache for roundness, a dash of Mourvèdre giving structure, and the refreshing minty touch from the terroir of La Clape appellation. A tasty, smooth and balanced wine to enjoy without complexes!"
