Cote des Roses celebrates the Mediterranean lifestyle. The Languedoc appellation stretches alongside the Mediterranean coast. The soils are highly varied, mainly with hard limestone and schist, but also gravel transported fromthe rivers of the Languedoc region. The bottle is original with its base in the shape of a rose, created by a young designer from the Ecole Boulle. A wine to be given in the same way you would offer a bunch of roses! The grapes are harvested late September once they are perfectly ripe. The yields are controlled to ensure a good concentration and elegant tannins.This wine reveals aromas of fresh fruit such as Morello cherry, wild raspberry and spices. On the mouth the full texture is velvety with silky tannins, and an elegant, well-balanced finish.

The 2001 La Turque is a vineyard-designated wine from a parcel inside the lieu-dit Côte Brune. It is a blend of 93% Syrah and 7% Vigonier. Meaty and rich, laced with Asian spice, espresso, blackberries, and cherry. An earthy, powerful, tannic wine with a long, heady, rich finish. Le Carredon is a tribute to the Occitan Cross, a symbol of pride in the Languedoc region of the South of France. Expert vignerons mix traditional wine-making methods with more modern ones in order to craft this ripe and juicy red wine. After harvest, part of the crop goes through hot maceration to enhance fruity aromas, colour and soft tannins. The rest of the grapes are destemmed before beginning a two-week traditional maceration. This long process is ideal to extract the varietals specific aromatic qualities. Deep ruby with a touch of purple in colour. This is a bold and concentred red wine. The nose is very expressive with red berry aromas followed by hints of toast and pepper. The palate is incredibly smooth and juicy with silky tannins. This blend shows terrific balance.

Chapoutier Le Pavillon Ermitage should be considered the perfect Hermitage wine. Reminiscent of the 1991, the 2006 Le Pavillon has a wonderful opaque colour of dark purple with a brilliant nose of smoky oak, cassis and truffle.
