The Elephant in the Room wines are proudly large in scale and expansive in flavour. Ignoring fashion and braving the scorn “wine thought police” Elephant in the Room was created to give consumers exactly what they want – full bodied and mouth-filling wines that deliver maximum pleasure. Each wine is sourced from slow-ripening cool climate vineyards in the Limestone Coast of South Australia and partially matured in French Oak before final blending and bottling by Corey Ryan.

A fine example of cool-climate Chardonnay. Elegant and structured this wine shows the finesse of the Yarra Valley at it's best. A perfect white to accompany seafood and white meats.

Beautifully refined yet packed full of flavour, Peter Drayton has created another classy Hunter Chardonnay. Vibrant mid yellow. Complex aromas of peach, pear, almond, nougat and flinty oak. A flavour-packed with yet with a classy mix of peach, pear and rockmelon, lovely river rock minerality, touches of marzipan and gun smoke and a complex, savoury finish.

Bright and fresh, apples, grapefruit. The palate is full with some creamy characters but not too much oak influence. Nice and long in the mouth.

Hints of spicy vanilla introduce this extra dry, medium-bodied wine. Balanced acidity frames notes of ripe pear, toast, and vanilla. The finish is of medium length, featuring honey and toasted oak notes that are balanced by a touch of lemony acidity.

Soft stone fruit aromas greet the nose. The palate is elegant and rich with harmoniously in tegrated subtle oak characters. Flavours of peach, nectarine and rockmel on flow through to a balanced, delicate finish.
