Neighbouring its capital Aigues-Mortes, Domaine Royal de Jarras offers a wealth of discovery. The “Vignoble des Sables” is planted on an island, which was long ago given the name of Isle de Stel. The place is loaded with history and tales of the knights who accompanied Saint Louis, King of France on his Crusades to the Holy Land. Domaine Royal de Jarras 2018 vintage has a nice brilliance and is pale grey in colour. The nose is intense with aromas of red berries and white peach followed by hints of citrus fruit. The palate is generous and ample with flavours of white flesh fruits, enhanced by a saline fish. Pair this wine with appetiser boards and Mediterranean dishes.

Minuty M Côtes de Provence Rosé is a pale and refreshing rosé in Provence pink this rosé is perfect for a summer’s day. Handpicked Grenache, Syrah, and Cinsault grapes make up this distinctive and delicate wine. Minuty are one of only fourteen châteaux to be designated cru classé and this offering is indicative of its flair and finesse. Aromas of white peach and pink grapefruit with a palate of soft red berries and a crisp dry finish.

In 2014 Nick was a finalist in the Gourmet Traveller Wine Winemaker of the Year awards. His wines are regularly recognised by James Halliday, most recently being noted in the top ten best new wineries for 2019. A light, crisp and dry style of Rose made from Grenache, Sangiovese and Merlot grown in the Hilltops region of Southern New South Wales. Aromas of tangerine, red berries and fresh watermelon. The palate is is beautifully balanced and dry.

In 1961, at just 21 years of age, George Fistonich leased five acres of land from his father in Mangere, Auckland and started off with just an acre of vines. George made his first wine under the name Villa Maria in 1962 with grapes harvested from this block. Today Villa Maria is New Zealand's most awarded winery. Villa Maria Private Bin Hawkes Bay Rose 2022 vintage is a beautiful salmon pink colour. The nose has bright floral aromas leading to a palate of red fruits, spice, and strawberries. Based in Margaret River, Western Australia, their mantra is minimal intervention with maximum flavour and where possible aim to work with growers using sustainable, organic and biodynamic vineyard methods. The L.A.S. Vino Albino PNO is made from pinot noir & chardonnay grapes grown in forest grove soils over granitic rock. The vineyard sits on the banks of the willyabrup river, only kilometres from the Indian ocean where cool ocean breezes flow up the valley. It’s one of the oldest and last remaining vineyards in Margaret River that contains Pinot Noir. A small one hectare vineyard with high density plantings and two different clones planted in 1980. Hand picked fruit, whole bunch pressed and naturally fermented in barrique. In comparison with other years the wine is lighter in colour and lower in alcohol, yet has body and balance through a secondary ferment, regular lees stirring and the addition of Chardonnay (14%). You can think of it as a rose if you like, but its a lot more than that. Lifted aromas of strawberries, rockmelon and cream.
