The Gardens of Moppa wines are an expression of the wines from the Barossa sub region of Moppa. The fruit is sourced from a blend of vineyards.Deep crimson purple. Dark, glossy, concentrated and spicy purple berries and integrated oak. Very composed entry with spiced plum compote, deep-set tannins and plenty of toasty oak. Very deep and firm making it an iron fist in a velvet glove.

At 10 years old, this stunning Mitolo GAM 2008 has been released from the Cellar with intense, complex aromas of black cherry and blackened cedar wood with complexing dried Mediterranean herbs. The palate is a true reflection of one of the great vintages of the region with immense yet savoury flavours of vanilla, dark plums and dry, earthy flavours reminiscent of the clay soil from which it is grown.

Marrenon’s target is to produce new cuvées nearby its own region of the Luberon. Same grapes (Syrah, Grenache), similar soils but the terroirs, with all its specificities, give different style of wine. At Gigondas, wines are powerful and aromatic with notes of ripe red fruits. In addition, a hint of freshness, balance and harmonious tannins for an easy to drink wine.

One of the benchmarks of Barossa Shiraz, Peter Lehmann's Stonewell is a classic example of the rich concentrated old vine style. While bold on the palate, there is always an inherent complexity to the Stonewell that enables it to be compared with all of the great Australian wines produced today.
