Pyramid Valley Earth Smoke Pinot Noir

La Crema Russian River Pinot Noir

Château Closiot Bordeaux Blanc C de Sec

Trapeze Early Pinot Noir

Wine; Super light Ruby/Garnet colours. So perfumed, light strawberry, raspberries, dried thyme (whole bunch?) and a bit of Jamon just for kicks! Really light and delicious on the palate, fresh strawberries, cranberry and raspberry, dried herbs. Tannins just right and lovely acid line through to the persistent and super fresh finish.

La Crema Willamette Pinot Noir

Aromas of black raspberry, forest floor and cedar are followed by flavours of pomegranate, cocoa and rich earth. On the palate the wine is medium-bodied with vibrant acidity and refined tannins. 100% Pinot Noir Over 30 years of experience working with chardonnay and pinot noir have established La Crema as a winery of consistent quality. La Crema produces wines from top cool-climate appellations to include; Russian River Valley, Sonoma Coast, Monterey and most recently Willamette. The unifying factors of all these sites are their cool, windy climates and marine-based soils. La Crema's vineyards are all harvested by hand in the cooler morning hours. The winemaking techniques are primarily traditional with modern enhancements to ensure that the wines are true to both the variety and the terroir. Chardonnays are whole-cluster pressed and fermented and aged in French oak on the lees with bi-monthly battonage to add texture and complexity. The Pinot Noirs are cold soaked for five to eight days before fermentation in small, open-top fermenters and aged in a combination of new and used French oak barrels. As with the Chardonnay, La Crema's Pinot Noirs are pure, accurate and reflective of their origin. Outstanding vineyard sources, limited yields and artisanal wine making produce wines that receive high acclaim.

Bird On A Wire Pinot Noir

An elegant wine with fresh red fruit characters to enjoy now or cellar to reward you later. When: The quality of grapes from this vineyard is exceptional. The red fruit flavours make this a delightful wine to drink young, but with some age you will see this wine come into its own. You dont have to cellar it for long and you will start to see some more earthy characters build more complexity and intrigue in this pinot noir from Tibooburra, Yellingbo in the upper Yarra Valley.Where: Pour yourself a glass of pinot noir at a table of duck confit or Peking duck, rich truffle or mushroom dishes or serve it with people who love to savour wash-rind stinky cheeses. The food you partner with this wine may be considered a little sophisticated, which will only make this moment all the more special. Why: The only way to understand the fascination with this captivating grape is to take your time with it, to engage in discussion about it, to actively compare it with other pinot noir wines, and to drink it with the cuisine it works best with. Pinot noir is a journey and one of the most enjoyable wine journeys you can find.

Framingham Nobody's Hero Pinot Noir

It bursts with bright red-currant and cherry fruit, cinnamon, cloves, cracked pepper and drying violets with a savory earthy undertone. The palate is plush but neatly packaged with savory, focused tannins and crunchy berry fruit. The spicy French oak does show on both the nose and the palate but it adds rather than detracts. Drink this young and slightly chilled as a light alternative to charred barbecue fare.

La Crema Monterey Pinot Noir

Aromas of black plum, cherry, rhubarb and hints of earth and loam. Flavours of red plum, raspberry and blood orange are underpinned by distinctive riverstone minerality and savoury umami character. Plush and richly textured with juicy yet balanced acidity and integrated toasty barrel spice. The grapes were picked at night or during the cool early morning hours and cold-soaked for three days. Next, they were punched down three times a day during fermentation, with no post-fermentation maceration, and racked out of barrel once at the time of blending, just prior to bottling. Over 30 years of experience working with chardonnay and pinot noir have established La Crema as a winery of consistent quality. La Crema produces wines from top cool-climate appellations to include; Russian River Valley, Sonoma Coast, Monterey and most recently Willamette.
