Risky Business King Valley Pinot Grigio

McPherson Family Bella McPherson Pinot Grigio

Named after Bella, one of the McPherson's many grandchildren, a girl with a whimsical nature combined with a steely determination. Qualities reflected in the McPherson's charming Pinot Grigio. Hints of honeysuckle and apple give a joyous uplift to a fresh, fruit driven palate with lightly savoury flavours and notes of pear and citrus. It was grown in New South Wales and crafted by two amazing Australian winemakers, Jo Nash and Olivia Forbes. Think Asian salads, fish tacos, textural light pasta and vegetarian Pad Thai when looking for the ideal bite to match.

Angove Bin 273 Pinot Grigio

Enticing florals lead you in, with green apples and citrus taking hold. Pleasantly rich pear and peach meld wth grapefruit for a zippy and crisp race across the palate. This fresh expression of Pinot Grigio comes from Angove Family Winemakers, one of Australia's oldest and most-respected wineries. And when you live in a place like sunny South Australia, you sure know to make a cool, refreshing white.

Campanula Pinot Grigio

This terrific Pinot Grigio comes from an award winning cellar established in 1949 in the village of Etyek, 50 kilometres from Budapest, and it shows just what fantastic quality and value Hungary offers. Famous for its regal sweet wine, named Tokaji, Hungary has in fact many strings to its bow, thanks in part to a 600 year history of growing Italian grape varieties. Winemaker Gábor Laczkó has proven himself an expert, crafting a range of thrilling wines under the Campanula label, named after the flower that grows wild in the vineyards. This refreshingly crisp, minerally Pinot Grigio has classic ripe pear, apricot and green apple character. Enjoy as a refreshing glass any time or with lighter dishes like tiger prawns or grilled salmon steak.

Miles from Nowhere Margaret River Pinot Gris

Miles From Nowhere's stunning Pinot Gris is grown on their Rosa Glen property. The creek that runs through the property quenches the vines, while the rows are planted perfectly to capture the brilliant sunshine that falls on the Margaret River region. The first nose is fresh but intense with aromas of white-fleshed stone fruits, ripe citrus and finger limes, supported by a wet gravel minerality. When allowed to open up, notes of lemongrass, kaffir lime and melon develop. Salmon tataki with wasabi mayonnaise or an asparagus risotto to pair.

Russell & Suitor Son of a Bull Riesling Pinot Gris Gewürztraminer

Pristine Pinot Grigio/Gris Dozen

Zippy, thirst-quenching Pinot Grigio, whether from Italy – the grape's original home – or in delightful home grown versions remains a perennial favourite. Some prefer the slightly more luscious style of Pinot Gris. We say there is much to love in both styles and here you have a perfect dozen to share (or keep to yourself).
