Judd, McCutcheon and Wallis are all utilised to reflect the cool-climate of Main Ridge, one of the coolest parts of the region. Ten Minutes By Tractor was the result of a the coming together of a series of journeys that began about 30 years ago. Centred around 3 vineyards that are approximately 10 minutes by tractor apart, the winery is now synonymous with terroir driven wines perfectly suited to Mornington Peninsula. Their estate Chardonnay is a wonderful modern interpretation of the variety with layers of complexity and fruit weight balanced by the ever present acid line that runs through the core of this fantastic wine.

This Pinot comes from the McCutcheon vineyard. Typically elegant with characteristic earthy, spicy, red fruit and berries, undergrowth and autumnal leaves; it is a controlled wine, poised and restrained.

Ten Minutes by Tractor have access to some of the Mornington Peninsula's very best single vineyard sites. The Wallis Vineyard produces a Chardonnay of uptmost power and elegance here. Some delicious texture and weight are great features of this wine where fresh citrus provides contrast on the palate and some nice oak provides the structure.

With access to some of Mornington Peninsula best single vineyard sites, Ten Minutes by Tractor's Wallis Pinot Noir is an example of the great depth and flavour the region can produce. Compared alongside the Estate Pinot, this wine is notably created in more of a savoury style. The flavours are precise and well defined with the palate tightly focused with fine and a little reserved tannin. The sweet-sour flavour combination makes a great food match with Asian cuisines.

Ten Minutes by Tractor continues to tell their story of Mornington Peninsula Pinot Noir with the single vineyard, Judd. As always, this Pinot is the most fruit driven of the single vineyard wines produced with a mouth watering palate of sweet strawberry and cherry fruit mixed with crunchy sap, spice and caramel.
