Sitting atop a high hill in the heart of the Hunter Valley, Bimbadgen have been producing quality wines like their Verdelho since 1968. Pineapple and tropical fruits arise on the nose followed by a citrus and troplical palate with lovelly herbal notes on the finish.

Produced from old low yielding Hunter Valley vines this Verdelho has lifted lychee lime and tropical fruit aromas and ripe spicy flavours with zippy acidity.

Peter Drayton and team are really delivering across their range, especially the regional staples of Shiraz, Chardonnay, Semillon, and this beautifully made Verdelho.Bright and pale. The wine shows lifted tropical fruits with hints of musk, spice and citrus florals. A full flavoured fruit-packed palate, with ripe tropical fruits, well balanced with great mouth feel and a long crisp finish.

The Audrey Wilkinson Verdelho shows lifted tropical aromas with hints of spice and ripe melon.The palate has lashings of fruit salad and hints of apricot and citrus zest.

2022 was a cracking year for Verdelho in the Hunter Valley, so the fact that Boydells have made this sparkling says a lot about how high they regard this wine. A party pleaser!Pale and bright. Our Verdelho is made using organic grapes from the Central Ranges region of New South Wales. We start the process with a cool fermentation in stainless steel tanks to help retain those wonderful tropical fruit aromas of pineapple and passionfruit. This wine is all about the freshness and enjoying on a warm summers day.
