100% Single Vineyard Shiraz. 12 months in French oak. Colour: Hot flush. Aroma: Musk, boysenberry, and purple fruit straps, accented by fragrant notes of juniper, rosemary blooms, and a hint of sandalwood incense. Palate: Boysenberry, plum, and black cherry mingling with hints of savory spice and a subtle earthiness. Cellar: 20 years.

Aromas of violets, black berries, cloves. The palate shows mulberries, blueberry, choc-mint biscuits. A touch of malbec brings some brown earth and provides a rustic edge to the tannin. Still very soft and juicy, delicious and youthful drinkingwhich was the aim, even from older vines.

Old vine Grenache imparts fresh and vibrant raspberry, redcurrant and Turkish delight aromas. Shiraz contributes mid palate weight and richness and Mourvedre Medium bodied palate brims with raspberry and cherry, supported by supple tannins and moreish acidity.

It combines the sweet raspberry fruit of the Grenache, rich dark fruits of the Shiraz and the savoury spice of Mourvèdre in perfect harmony. The finish is long, generous and satisfying. Not too heavy, not too light, this GSM is in perfect balance.
