Veuve Clicquot Brut Yellow Label Champagne Nv. A Champagne from the fuller-bodied school with flavours of buttered toast, brioche and biscuit to complement the ever present fine acidity and flavour length that is a trademark.

A beautiful golden-yellow colour, with a foaming necklace of tiny bubbles. The nose is initially reminiscent of white fruits and raisins, then of vanilla and later of brioche. Veuve Clicquot La Grande Dame is name in honour of the famed and undoubted Champagne pioneer, widow Clicquot. Widowed at the tender age of 28, Madame Clicquot continued her late husband's work and is the sole reason why her Champagne house is held in the high esteem that it is today. The 1998 La Grande Dame is a wine of pure beauty and power. A majority blend of Pinot Noir, the vintage conditions are clearly visible in the glass with flavours of peach, apricot and touch of brioche and nuttiness. A true classic for the ages.

The Veuve Clicquot Vintage Rosé is a true symphony of wine, orchestrated by Madame Clicquot in 1818 when she blended, for the very first time in Champagne history, a selection of the finest black and white grapes. With this wine-making method, consisting of blending red wines and white wines, Madame Clicquot reinvented rosé wine, breaking away from the other champagne houses whose rosé wines were traditionally produced by macerating black grapes in colourless juice. Silky and structured, elegant and fruity, the Veuve Clicquot Vintage Rosé stands up for its excellent ageing potential of at least 20 years.
