The palate has great precision yet generosity with a strong juniper backbone that is complemented by charred lemon, pineapple and grapefruit. This all-Australian Negroni does the original no disservice. The Archie Rose team has teamed Archie Rose Distillers Strength Gin with sweet vermouth by Victoria-based maker Maidenii, and Økar Island Bitter sourced from South Australias Applewood distillery. Notes of native riberry and strawberry gum deliver delightful results, while artist Melanie Vugichs interpretation of red riberries features across the label. This ready-to-pour cocktail is mixed and measured to bring the experience of the Archie Rose Bar into the comfort of your home. Launched in March 2015, Archie Rose Distilling Co. is the first independent distillery and bar to open in the City of Sydney in over 160 years. Featuring Australian native botanicals including Lemon Myrtle, Blood Lime, River Mint and Dorrigo Pepperleaf, Archie Rose Signature Dry Gin is unique in the fact that all fourteen botanicals are individually distilled utilising one of three separate infusion points within a 300L copper pot still. While particularly labour intensive, the result is a perfectly balanced and wonderfully complex dry gin that fuses the old world with the new.

Bone Dry Gin features juniper that has been distilled three different ways using our copper pot-column hybrid vacuum stills - the only example of their kind in the world. These world-class stills eliminate the damaging impact of heat on delicate botanicals, leaving us free to explore the many attributes of this multifaceted ingredient. To draw out a multitude of diverse flavours from our Macedonian juniper, this hand foraged ingredient was both cold and hot distilled to create three distinct expressions. Joined by a supporting cast of single estate Australian coriander seed, Tahitian lime and lemon scented gum, the resulting spirit offers a supple start on the palate that makes way for a bold balance of citrus and herbaceous intensity that dovetails to a profoundly pine-laden dry finish.Bone Dry Gin rigorously balances a huge amount of raw power with nuance, poise and complexity to reveal an elaborate juniper experience that makes a great G&T and an even better Martini. Sitting at the traditional Sloe Gin strength of 26% alcohol, Ink Sloe & Berry is a lower-alcohol option for those who want to drink less and enjoy more, and is perfect for sipping on the rocks. Starting with our gin base, its distilled with juniper berry, coriander, angelica and liquorice root. Sloe berry mingles with Davidson plum, both fruits giving the gin a tart flavour base. This tartness is balanced by an explosion of berries, cherries and jaboticaba, otherwise known as the Brazilian grape tree. And it wouldnt be Ink Gin if it didnt star a vibrant floral infusion. The final ingredient is native Australian rosella flowers. The rosella flower, a hibiscus found in the tropical northern parts of Australia, is vibrant in colour and has a crisp, tart flavour.
