Glaetzer-Dixon überblanc Riesling

The überblanc Riesling is attributed to a über 2001 vintage, winemaker Nick Glaetzer experienced in the Pflaz region of Germany, learning first hand some of the award winning techniques used by their winemakers. Tasmanian grapes sourced for the wine display the core elements, highly regarded by the Pflaz winemakers for or elegantly structured and balanced Riesling. Delicate lime zest and floral aromas fill the glass. Further citrus flavours develop on the fresh mineral structure, enhanced by the juicy fruit flavours.

Henschke Peggy's Hill Riesling

The colour of gold struck through with green, this Riesling shows classic lime and mineral aromas with a touch of gooseberry. Rich and full-bodied, the citrus and tropical fruit flavours are underpinned by crisp acidity.

Towerhill Dry Riesling

Towerhill Riesling 'Royalle'

The aroma is seductive, fresh with enticing lime juice, lychee and citrus blossom. This wine has a subtle power with elegant lime and floral characters coming to the fore, whilst the palate has great length, being both dry and yet mouth-filling. This is enhanced by a small proportion of the wine being matured in old French oak and the balance of the wine is reinforced by hallmark Mt Barker Riesling acidity. Suitable for cellar with a right cellaring condition.

Towerhill Riesling

Another superb Riesling vintage for Mt Barker region has produced a wine of great power and purity with a layered bouquet of fresh citrus, red apple and white flowers. The palate shows wonderful flavour intensity, balance and minerality with a core of natural, cool climate acidity that will ensure that this wine develops in complexity over the next ten years with careful cellaring.
