Travertine's Vineyard sits on a limestone formation near the Belford Dome. This forms the foundation for our range of Hunter wines. Appearance: Pale green straw. Aroma: Ripe pears with hints of lemon honey. Palate: Fresh pears with a hint of lemon savoury complexity and soft acid from maturation on lees in old French oak. The Italian grape, Fiano, is one of Australia's key alternate grape varieties. It is perfectly suited to the climate of the Hunter Valley. An unwooded style, the wine has intense varietal characteristics with aromas of pear and spice. Beautifully refined yet packed full of flavour, Peter Drayton has created another classy Hunter Chardonnay. Vibrant mid yellow. Complex aromas of peach, pear, almond, nougat and flinty oak. A flavour-packed with yet with a classy mix of peach, pear and rockmelon, lovely river rock minerality, touches of marzipan and gun smoke and a complex, savoury finish.

Poole's Rock Chardonnay gives refreshing zesty flavours, lime juice, lemon zest, lemon grass, green melon, kiwi fruit with a lingering mineral line down the palate, a fresh mouth watering aftertaste.

A very appealing yellow/green tinted colour. Tropical aromas with plenty of primary fruit as a young wine. Minimal oak influence, of which adds a slight bran meal note. More tropical fruit on the palate, balanced by bright zesty acidity. An excellent and flavoursome Chardonnay.
