The result is a refined, elegant wine of exceptional quality & delightful fruity notes. Notes of fresh fruit (pear, apricot, peach, and citrus) dominate, complemented by notes of honey and biscuit. After a frank and lively attack, fresh fruit notes permit a beautiful balance on the palate. A tense and attractive structured finish. Aged for a minimum of two years in our cellars.

A beautifully orchestrated sparkling, this bright, salmon-pink wine has a fine bead and aromas of honeyed red fruits with some delicate toasty notes too. The palate is bright and flavoursome, with strawberry biscuit flavours, cleansing acidity and a clean, zesty finish.

A delicate salmon pink in the glass, this elegant method traditional rosé displays fresh strawberry, hints of ripe stonefruit and underlying notes of brioche and toasted hazelnut. The fine persistent bead and creamy mousse lead to a rich and weighty palate balanced with focused acidity and biscuity complexity derived from yeast autolysis. Elegant integration of primary fruit flavours derived from Pinot Noir grapes leads this generous and rounded wine to a smooth, lively and lingering finish.

A shimmering, brilliant palest gold in the glass, this traditionally made wine displays lifted aromas of bright citrus fruit, crisp fresh apples and refined touches of brioche and toasted hazelnut. Extended lees aging in the bottle has resulted in a wine that displays a fine, persistent bead and rich, creamy mousse. Finely balanced with bright acidity and a touch of minerality, this wine leads perfectly to an elegant, long and crisp dry finish.

A classic Fromm Vineyard Pinot Noir, a multi-layered wine, very concentrated without appearing big or heavy, with positive tannin support. At its best it shows a masculine charm with a distinct terroir-related identity, aging superbly.

Small-batch Chardonnay from Marlborough negociants Novum. Stonefruit, cream and mineral on the nose. Flintiness meets fruit on the palate, making for a distinctive medium-bodied wine. An appealingly long finish shows this to be a top tier Chardonnay. Novum use small parcels of fruit from specially selected sites on established Marlborough vineyards to craft the best wines and expressions of terroir possible. Their first vintage arrived in 2016. Novums primary focus is on Syrah, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.

Drawing on vast experience in Europe and the gorgeous surrounds of his Awaterre Estate, Belsham strives to communicate these sources of inspiration from vineyard to glass, drawing on optimally ripe fruit grown on a Pinot Noir utopia of silty loams over limestone. Attention to detail is punctuated by minimal input, sustainable accreditation and a culture that strives to protect the environmental hegemony. Not only are the wines vegan-friendly, but a percentage of the sale of each supports global reforestation. The heritage of the region is also acknowledged. The Fox name celebrates the explorer William Fox, who named a tributary island in Marlborough Foxes Island and a glacier in the Southern Alps, Fox Glacier. As pertinent, the native botanicals depicted on the label were painted by Sarah Featon in the 19th century as part of the inaugural classification of New Zealand flora.
