Little Vespa Sangiovese
This quintessential Italian style luscious red wine is redolent with sweet cherry and a rustic earthiness combined with silky tannins making it a highly desirable food wine. It's blended with Shiraz which is a particularly complimentary partner to Sangiovese as it lends bouquet and lifted berry fruit flavours, liquorice and adding structure and dimension to the wine. This blend of varieties are used in the new wave Super Tuscan wines. luscious red colur. Bouquet exhibits aromas of dark cherries, bay leaf and pancetta Palate: alive with flavours of cherries, sun dried tomatoes, liquorice balanced by chalky tannins and a lingering savoury finish. A tannic wine but the tannins are really ripe.
