W & J Graham's Fine Tawny Port

The Grahams Tawny Ports rival their vintages Ports by always exceeding minimum standards for age and quality of the material. This Tawny shows surprising qualities of age and sheer quality of the blend. It has rancio, toffee and the classic cherry skin/nutty combo of Portuguese Port. The palate is generous, showing sweetness but cleverly staying just shy of sticky, with a fine drying, tingling finish.

Quinta do Vallado Douro Tinto

Black fruits and minerals on the nose. The palate has rich berry fruits which add a soft glycerol mouthfeel with a meaty savoury edge balanced out by floral notes on the long elegant finish.

Ramos Pinto Lagrima White Port Non-Vintage

APPEARANCE: Straw coloured with golden highlights. AROMA: Characteristically sweet yet packed with ripe fruit over subtle floral aromas. PALATE: Ripe fruit flavours are wrapped in an intense freshness through to the pleasing finish marked by a touch of honey.

Kopke LBV

Established in 1638, Kopke is the oldest port house in the known universe. No small feat! And we can comfortably say that if you’re new to the wonderful world of port, we reckon here is a pretty solid place to start. If you’re a weathered port aficionado; well… you really aught to experience this.

Kopke Ten Years Old Tawny

Kopke are one of the major Port players, with a history dating back to 1638, with some barrels over 100 years old. This fine-looking number has an average age of 10 years, meaning you get the best of both worlds blended together: younguns with pure vibrancy meet ancient, wisdom-inducing old Ports that bring intensity around the edges. So that vibrant fruitiness fills the mid-palate while it stretches out to a long sweet, salty, umami-lined finish. Perfect for Christmas pudding, every cheese imaginable, or just the end of the night on the good couch.

Penfolds Father 10 Year Old Grand Tawny

Penfolds Father Grand Tawny pays tribute to 169 years of winemaking excellence. A blend of many outstanding tawny components separately matured in seasoned old oak casks, with a minimum blended average age of ten years. The results yields a wine of generous concentration, vitality, exceptional balance of fruit and oak age complexity. The tawny lingers in the mouth, finishing clean and tight.

Morris Liqueur Muscat

Christmas in a bottle, this is a superb Rutherglen liqueur muscat. The colour has a slightly olive, aged tinge, and the fabulous nose has beautifully concentrated scents of raisins, spices, plum pud, roasted almonds and Siena cake. It's seductively sweet and smooth in the mouth, with a luscious raisin and nutty aftertaste. Fortified wines were perfected in the 1700s and were popular as they were able to withstand long sea journeys. A wine becomes fortified when a neutral spirit is added during the fermentation process. There are many different types of fortified wines including Tawny, Port, Apera, Sherry, Muscat and other fortifieds. Common flavours include ginger, toasted hazelnuts, raisins, caramel and cinnamon. Fortified wine pairs well with seafood, tapas, fruit cake or enjoyed as a cocktail, aperitif or digestive.

McWilliams Hanwood Tawny 10 Years Old

Aged for a decade, this wine has the decadent, rich raisin palate of a fine Christmas cake. A true, barrell-aged Tawny Port, a dash of dry sherry adds complexity while the finish is long, luscious and luxurious. The perfect gift!

Nectar Gonzales Byass Nectar Pedro Ximenez

Intense ebony in colour and rich, sweet and velvety smooth on the palate. With dried fruits and fig aromas on the nose. Nectar shows complex flavours of caramel, dried fruits, figs, mocha, nuts and spices. As a sweet dessert wine served on its own. Chilled Nectar is the perfect match for chocolate, ice cream and sweet puddings.

Stanton & Killeen Classic Muscat

A superb value wine for its rich and sweet 'muscaty' and raisin flavours with the lightness and freshness of the foundation Rutherglen style. Perfect match chocolate pastry. The colour is deep orange amber with floral aromas of crushed rose petal, lavender and orange blossom. The palate has rich raisins with subtle oak and great length.
