This vintage was co-fermented with 7.5% viognier to give the shiraz a more intensely perfumed bouquet and silkier texture. The palate has a wonderfully dry texture which gives a savoury character to the shiraz: dark plum, briary, brambly flavous and a fleshy, almost silky texture and a long, dry finish of considerable length.

Machine harvested at night , crushed and de-stemmed, pressed to French oak (25% new and the balance in staves) for 12 months. This is classic cooler climate Shiraz with beautiful perfumes on the nose and lovely fleshy fruit flavours on the palate, the tannins are soft and generous combining to give the wine a well structured finish.

Margaret River is renowned for its premium Siraz wines. This example emanates from one of Wilyabrup's a multi star rated Halliday Winereis. The fruit was harvested in Mid-April when the skin tannins are ripe and the flavours are bold. The whole berries add some spice and complexity to the wine. Aromas of glazed plums, cloves and cracked peppercorns give way to a rich palate with hints of citrus blossom, oyster shell and vanilla pod compliment a long and complex finish, further exhibiting a bright fruit core and pure longevity of pristine tannin. Our Shiraz seems to enjoy relatively cool ferments, plenty of aeration and gentle treatment. The wine is gently pressed of skins, near dryness, based on taste.The bubbly purple wine finishes its fermentation in the presence of mainly French oak, with the smallest portion of American oak. The wine is racked when it has finished its malolactic fermentation, and then once or twice more over the season based on its individual requirements. This is a complex, compelling wine with dark plums and ripe anise-like spice on the nose, silky tannins and understated oak nicely completing this moreish Shiraz.

Rich mulberry, black cherries and soft white pepper on the nose followed by blackberry and dark cherries and layers of vanillan oak and dark chocolate on the palate.

The grapes for this spectacular Best Blocks Shiraz were sourced from the Miamup Road vineyard. The fruit was harvested, crushed, and transferred to stainless steel vessels for fermentation. Post maturation in a combination of American and French barriques for 18 months, the resulting wine features a deep purple red colour. A swirl of the glass presents scintillating aromas of freshly cracked pepper, mixed berries, cocoa bean, spice and vanilla. Fine grained tannins integrate with the soft palate containing ripe red fruits and spices. The finish is elegant and lengthy. This delightful Shiraz can be enjoyed now, or within a cellaring term of eight years. It tastes excellent with char grilled porterhouse steak alongside mustard butter sauce and seasonal vegetables.

Crafted by the skilled hands of Bruce Dukes, this wine exhibits flavours of ripe dark berries with a hint of exotic spice for which Bantry Bay and the Yallingup sub-region are renowned.

A deep, full-bodied red from Western Australia's Margaret River region. The nose is extremely aromatic, with intense notes of dark cherries, blackberries, and plums, backed by subtle nuances of floral and spice. On the palate, juicy black fruit flavours are married with a spicy, rich, velvety tannin structure, and a complex finish of dark chocolate, mocha and dried herbs. The colour is a deep, dark ruby-purple and the wine has a lovely texture, with good acidity and a long, lingering finish. An excellent approachable Shiraz with plenty of flavour and character.
