This release is a tribute to the diversity of the McLaren Vale region and the uncompromising craftsmanship of our Chief Winemaker. Complex spicy fruit with white chocolate and vanilla notes, displaying dark red fruit characters, plum and mulberries with hints of clove and cardamom. The refined tannin structure gives this wine great length, balance and persistence in flavour.

This wine is the baby sister to Ulithornes Frux Frugis Shiraz. It is a wine that celebrates the elegance & intensity of flavours that old bush vine Shiraz can bring to the table. With spice & ripe cherries on the nose, driving length of blood plums and an elegantly weighted palate, the flavours are balanced with soft tannins. Tasting Notes Aroma Dense, classic Shiraz characters of fresh blackberry, boysenberry and aniseed mesh seamlessly with dried spice and elegant French oak. Palate Concentrated and generous with dark fruits and black cherry, the old vines contribute complex spices, cinnamon and nutmeg. A full bodied, luscious and elegant wine that is perfectly balanced by fine grain tannins and lingering structural finish.

The Little Venice Shiraz has a lifted nose; currants, plums and pepper with cedary spice all wrapped up in fresh pottersclay. There are appealing notes of saline fruit, forest floor and truffles that bring complexity.
