Campbell Mattinson Meaty and spicy with black cherry and plum flavours rumbling throughout. The tannin feels dry and sturdy, the fruit brooding and dark, but the floral and sweet meat characters here lend it both a prettiness and a touch of the exotic.

High up in the Adelaide Hills, Paracombe is owned and operated by the Drogemuller family, which it has passionately done since 1983. Sourced from both estate and selected grower fruit, Paracombe Shiraz shows wonderful ripe fruit aromas with a delicate cool-climate aspect. Notes of cherries, plums, pepper and spice are notable along with a palate of layered spicy fruit and a fine tannin structure.

From a warmer than average season only the finest fruit has been steered with a steady hand to create a wine of pure elegance and enduring character. chocolate and a mid-palate spike of fresh blackberry. Lip-smacking structure and impressive length make this a very special shiraz crafted to drink now and for cellaring over many years.

Richly textured and supported by subtle French oak char and fine grained tannins, the nose and palate display an elegant infusion of red fruits, liquorice, dried herbs, tar and charcuterie in a long and persistent finish.

The K1 Shiraz reflects the generosity of the K1 vineyard terroir on the Shiraz variety. This wine offers vibrant aromas of cool climate berries and spice. The palate is tight, concentrated and complex with notes of plums and cherries.

This is a lovely, easy flowing shiraz from the Adelaide Hills that also packs a weighty punch - full of dark fruit and raspberry with sweet oak and spice flavours. It's a lovely example of what shiraz from "the Hills" can be - and all from a single block off a small family owned winery.

Grown not too far from our own vineyard, this bright cherry red medium bodied wine displays a slight perfumed spiciness with hints of white pepper. Carefully balanced with 25% new French oak, wonderful fruit characteristics and gentle tannins, this is a wine that will reward patientcellaring.

The Wolf Blass Grey Label Shiraz is an opulent concentrated and complex style with plenty of spicy fruit and a dash of chocolate. True to the style that Wolf himself made from the very beginning of this now iconic brand, this is very tasty and enjoyable now yet it has the weight and complexity to improve with cellaring.
