Bodegas Vega Sicilia Alion

Spain's most prestigious wine estate, Bodegas Vega Sicilia, was founded in 1864 by Don Eloy Lecanda y Chaves. The Alion is produced using the Tinto Fino (Tempranillo) variety. The grapes are harvest by hand in 12-kg boxes and are taken immediately to the winery to the sorting tables. Fermentation takes place in wooden tanks under controlled temperatures until a good polyphenolic structure is obtained which will provide the generous colour and firm structure that makes up part of the personality of this Tempranillo; and finally the ageing of between 14 and 20 months, depending on the characteristics of the vintage, is performed in full in new French oak Bordeaux barrels.

Valenciso Reserva Rioja

Ripe plum, tar, leather and spice. The palate shows sour cherries, dried fig, white pepper and significant tannins carry the finish.

Remelluri Gran Reserva Tempranillo

Licorice, cedar and tobacco on the nose. the palate is full of dark cherry, orange peel, ripe plum, with pepper and clove spices. Its very well balanced, rich but finishing with complex spicy acidity.

Cherry clafoutis and that glorious Ribera earthiness. The palate is full of spices, red fruits and good acity that make it juicy and crisp. A very elegant wine.

Bodegas Roda Roda 1 Tempranillo Reserva

Very minerally, with lifted florals and metallic elements. The palate features astonishing tannin maturity, great spiciness with fine oak tucked way in at the back, while the fruit runs in the plum and cola range. Its power with enormous finesse, length and grace.

Pesquera is one of the legendary Estates of Spain. It was under this label that Alejandro Fernández made the 100% Tempranillo wines that first launched the Ribera del Duero region on to the world stage. He established Pesquera in 1972 and the resulting critical acclaim was instrumental in the Ribera de Duero receiving official D.O. status in 1982. 100% Tinto Fino (Tempranillo). Aged for 30 months in oak barrels and then 12 months in the bottle. A fabulous Reserva with intense aromatics of ripe plum, wood spice and leather.

Yllera Dominus Tempranillo

Dark cherry red colour, Clear and brilliant. Powerful nose with pronounced red fruit aromas. The ageing in the oak barrel for 12 months gives a touch of vanilla, blended with spices, liquorice and toast coming through.notes of chocolate, eucalyptus, leather and tobacco bring elegance and sophistication. Medium to full bodied on the palate with a focused red fruit bouquet. Smooth, clean and velvety texture with a vanilla note on the finish.
