In 1878, the Scottish writer Robert Louis Stevenson traveled the French Cévennes moutains with his donkey Modestine. This cuvée from the Vignerons Ardéchois is an homage to his travel depicted in his personal journal. The vinification is done according to the "Beaujolaise technique" in carbonic maceration, with a short vatting of 6 days and fermentation at 18 °. Its cherry red color and fruity nose exhales aromas of bananas and candies. On the mouth: a fruit crush of fresh red fruits, strawberries and redcurrants. A supple and fruity wine, without tannins, to share with your best friends over some nibbles and cheers.

Located in the heart of the Regional Nature Park of Luberon, a biosphere reserve recognized by UNESCO, Marrenon is first and foremost a combined story of menand terroir and areference amongst the producers of the Luberon and Ventoux regions.The mythical mountains, Luberon to the south (1,125 m) and Ventoux to the North (1,912 m), forge the character of these appellations: maximum exposure to the sun, tempered by the altitude and the thermal amplitude thanks to the proximity of the Southern Alps, gentle slopes and limestone hillsides, rolling hills exposed to the benefits of the Mistral wind… The richness and the diversity of the soils, limestone screes, round pebbles, safres, are the ideal cradle for Syrah and Grenache. This rosé wine presents a nice pale salmon color with pink hues. The nose is elegant with flavors of citrus and floral notes. In the mouth, the style is very lush and pleasant with a long and delicate finish on the palate. Freshness and delicacy are the key words for this cuvée.

This Pinot Noir is cultivated in the heart of the French Ardèche region, vineyard marked by its cool climate and high altitude. Buis D'Aps is a locality in the town of Alba La Romaine, around which this Pinot Noir is grown, on clay-limestone soils. This cuvée is the fruit of rigorous work: limited yields, thinning at the start of summer, exclusively manual harvest. After a long maceration of 2 to 3 weeks, part of the harvest is aged in oak barrels. Fresh nose, seductive, very cherry, small catchy tannins well coated, floral finish, fresh vegetal, superb character. A beautiful discovery.
