Fast-forward one million years, the region rose out of the sea and fossils helped form the prized red soils (‘terra rossa’) for which the Limestone Coast is famous. One of our absolute favourites, our Cabernet Sauvignon is matured in oak casks for that light vanillin oak finish. Its a lively red with a smooth finish, presenting fine velvety tannins and an intense blackcurrant jam flavour on the palate. Despite its complexity it is a great easy-drinking red, but we recommend it paired with hearty, meaty dishes such as a lasagne, steak or a cheese platter.
