Penfolds Maxs Cabernet Sauvignon is a regional blend that gives the wine a fuller more intense mouthfeel. It has rich blackcurrant and toffee-apple like aromas on the nose, followed by dense savoury varietal fruits on the palate. Tannins are firm with subtle oaks leading to a long finish.

Sourced from the South Australian regions of Barossa, McLaren Vale and Coonawarra. The wine is full of sweet, spicy dark fruit, rounded out by the quality oak from barrels usually used for Bins 128, 138 and 389. A well-structured, medium bodied wine with a medium finish. Sweet coconutty oak, ripe fruit and an upfront nose of bright red cherry gives this age-worthy red its unique style.

Wafts of fresh baked pastry; macerated blackberry flavours. Exuberant cassis, dark plum and obviously blackberry fruits aligning with enveloping, refined-yet-generous cigar box tannins.

The label is a treat (a tiny vintage caravan parked outside a grand French château) but the wine itself is what's really special here. Brokenwood Shiraz is a ripe and generous Shiraz with lifted cherry and mint aromas nicely balanced with sweet chocolate notes on the nose and a soft rich palate with savoury cedary flavours and fine grained tannins on the finish.

John Quarisa, aka Johnny Q, is a terrific winemaker, creating wines that, like him, can be lively and highly charged. In his Caravan wine series, he likes to think of a grape that changes in style as it travels. So that here, Sauvignon Blanc grown in his Riverina vineyards produces a wine still with loads of grassy fresh zip, but along the way, has developed more tropical fruit flavours too. That is peach, pineapple and passionfruit! He insists on night harvested grapes to ensure lots of bright fresh flavours and cool ferments them for the same reason. This wine previously won a Gold medal and we think the 2021 vintage is tasting just as good – it's a fridge-door-must! Chill down and enjoy as a glass on its own or with spicy Thai dishes.

Ruby red in colour with lifted aromas of eucalypt and blackberries. The medium to full-bodied palate exudes a lovely early note of caramel balanced with delicious blackberry undertones bound together by fine, velvety tannins. Perfect with Lamb Roast, shanks, ragu or chops. No preservatives to this wine to produce a young, fresh and vibrant red to be consumed in its youth.
