Tart red fruit characters offering raspberries and red cherries, this is frame nicely with a line of spice with cinnamon and sandalwood, light approaching medium bodied with lovely spice in the finish.

Light ruby in colour with lifted aromas of cherry, red berry and blood plum. The palate is bright with sour cherry, fresh raspberries and cranberries and a hint of spice. Bright fruit flavours are balanced with fine, soft tannins. Aging in French oak and clonal selection add layers of complexity and finesse. Enjoy now or cellar for many years to come. Lively nose. Cherries, stewed plum, fennel, fig. Palate is relatively light-bodied, with good acid, nice texture and spice. Sits well on the finish.

Ripe plum and cherries with hints of spice, especially white pepper & aniseed. Medium bodied with notes of plum, cherry, red berries and liquorice. Maturation in oak adds a layer of richness; dark chocolate and lifted oak combine with fine tannins to create excellent length.

Rich, sweet cherry and blackberry fruits overlay the supple palate. Subtle use of oak adds fine soft tannins to this well-structured wine.

2019 was the inaugural vintage for Byrne Farm in cool climate Orange. Jeff Byrne is the former head winemaker at Audrey Wilkinson in the Hunter. A superb first release.Attractive garnet colour. Forest floor, pot pourri, game and mushroom. Clean, delicate and very elegant, bursting with bright red fruit, velvety texture, soft oak, juicy acidity and a dry finish. Gently handled with lovely fruit expression.

Bright red ruby in colour. Savoury and Pepper nose with touches of Violet. Medium to full body on the palate with Blackberry and Blackcurrant flavours and lovely long mouth feel.

The Ridge of Tears wines range is homage to Peter Logan's late ancestors. Ridge of Tears Mudgee Shiraz is a deep dark red coloured wine. The complex aroma of this dry red wine mixes florals, dark cherries, mulberries and plums, that further fuse with warm spices, liquorice and a little touch of fresh earth. The medium to full bodied palate displays plum, berry and spice flavours with a mineral core and grainy tannins. The palate presents a soft texture, before leading to a long finish. The wine tastes good with venison, grilled or roast beef, and strong hard cheeses especially Cheddar.
