Travertine Wines Hunter Valley Fiano
Travertine's Vineyard sits on a limestone formation near the Belford Dome. This forms the foundation for our range of Hunter wines. Appearance: Pale green straw. Aroma: Ripe pears with hints of lemon honey. Palate: Fresh pears with a hint of lemon savoury complexity and soft acid from maturation on lees in old French oak. Finely balanced with a clean fresh lingering finish. Enjoy slightly chilled with friends, or pair with poultry, fish or even pork for the more adventurous.

The grapesfor this wine were picked from our 40 year old vines grown in the volcanic soilof the ancient Fordwich Sill. These low yielding mature vines produce ripe, concentrated fruitwhich results in a wine with excellent regional and varietal characters.
