Gravel Track pays tribute to the long gravel and limestone track that winds its way through our historic 60-year-old Farms vineyard. Vibrant plum and blackberry characters on the nose with hints of chocolate and earthiness flow through to a rich, bold palate packed with dark fruit flavours. Juicy and fruit driven, powerful yet elegant and with hints of black pepper spice, the wine is matured in a combination of French and American oak for twelve months.

A plush and slurpy palate bursting with juicy forest berries, fine coating tannins locked intricately together by a delicious vanillin oak undertone. The Blockhead range is characterised by its drinkability and its soft, lush and generous palate.

Grant Burge reds are always distinctively Barossa and this one is no exception. Vibrant colour earthy nose with blackberries and a touch of pepper and a richly flavoured palate with robust tannins.

Deep red with purple hues. Concentrated plum and blackberry aromas with subtle cinnamon and nutmeg spice. Rich and full flavoured with great depth and intense dark berry fruit supported by premium French and American oak.

We've been intently following Alex Head for a while now, producing a unique set eye opening Barossan wines, inspirationally drawn from his passion towards Northern Rhone Syrah. Soil and aspect is therefore every much key, imparting style and character and this new release Head Red is no exception. Judiciously used oak allows the deliciously juicy, dark and spicy fruit to shine with an impeccably moorish, savoury structure. 'Made from grenache, shiraz and mataro, this is bursting with bright, spicy red cherry fruits showing gentle savoury complexity. The late, great Peter Lehmann was a fifth generation Barossa winemaker and a legend in his own lifetime. The son of a Lutheran preacher, he became a champion of small independent grape growers in the region, buying their grapes through the tough days of the 1970s when the big wineries reneged on their contracts. This earned Peter the title ‘Baron of the Barossa’. Those growers never forgot his generosity and always stayed loyal. With a fabulous wine range including the world class Stonewell, no one did more to elevate the Barossa to cult status than Peter. His generous spirit lives on in this hearty, big spice Shiraz. Rich, chocolatey, with a peppery vanilla edge, it’s supreme with rare beef, roast lamb or veggie casserole with dumplings.

Deep crimson/purple in colour with a nose of cedar, spice and plum hinting at the mix of dark fruits and chocolate lurking on the rich structured palate. The wine shows powerful depth of flavour with plush lingering mouthfeel. A careful selection of established low yielding vineyards stretching from the North Barossa townships of Ebenezer and Light Pass through to Lyndoch in Southern Barossa. Matured in new and seasoned French and American oak allowing the vibrant mid-palate of dark and light fruit to come to the fore. Brothers-in-law Daniel Chaffey Hartwig and Theo Engela are the latest generation of the Chaffey family to ply their vinous trade in Australia.Their hand-made, minimal intervention wines come from small parcels of low yielding vineyards spread throughout the Barossa and Eden Valleys. Drawing on true old vines and complex soils they see themselves as part parfumer - discovering delicate aromatics; part historian - preserving the purity of pristine fruit and part mad scientist - reveling in the art of small batch blending.
